Ghidotti Communications was hired to unveil the new 75-store shopping mecca through media relations, influencer marketing and special events. The opening of the Outlets of Little Rock was a four-day, jam-packed weekend that brought thousands out to the new shopping center, including almost every media outlet in the state.
We planned and executed a shopping night that benefited 20 local charities, a red-ribbon cutting and news conference event with the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce, a VIP breakfast event and a fashion show featuring celebrity stylist and Emmy award-winning television personality Carson Kressley. Needless to say, we needed some extra-long naps after that weekend! The great news? Retailers expressed endless excitement for the weekend since many of them exceeded their sales goals, and shoppers were over-the-top thrilled that outlet shopping was finally nearby.
