We are here to do these two things each and every day:

2. To give back in meaningful ways to our community, our clients, our industry and our people.

If you browse our site, you’ll see plenty of examples of us doing these things – whether we’re launching a new brand, helping a client navigate challenging waters or volunteering our time with a local nonprofit or a public relations student event.

We are committed to success for our clients and our community. That means we are dedicated to staying ahead of the curve when it comes to strategies that work. Public relations is evolving. While we’ll always see a need for some of the tried-and-true PR strategies (can anyone say pitching 101?), there are many new smart and efficient ways to move the needle for businesses and reputations. We make sure we know those, test these and use these to ensure our clients better connect with their audiences. Also, social PR and all the fun tools and apps that come with that are just plain FUN!

In short, we have the experience, the love of learning and the drive to be a leader for our clients. The basics of PR haven’t changed – relationships matter more than ever. But the ways we build those relationships have changed (you know, like Periscoping your favorite part of the business trip to your kids). Pretty pictures still have a role, and fancy videos sometimes go viral, but the strategies to power those are what really matter.

And at the end of the day, even business results aren’t the be-all, end-all. Have we made a mark on our society? Have we truly changed the world one action at a time? Have we helped someone? That’s what REALLY matters. We want to be good and active citizens and make this world a better one. And we want to help our clients do the same (and that doesn’t mean just roping them into serving on a board with us).

Someone (actually Jake Shimabukuro – look him up on Spotify; he’s incredible) once said, “If everyone played the ukulele, the world would be a better place.”

Jake, we’re not so sure about that, although we do believe in the power of music, especially when we listen to “Uptown Funk” loudly to help us get through a long day. What we do believe in is what Rosalynn Carter so aptly said …

“There is clearly much left to be done, and whatever else we are going to do, we had better get on with it.”
